TOYO TIRE Publishes “Integrated Report 2023” Systematically presenting TOYO TIRE’s value creation process

Hyogo, Japan – September 29, 2023 – Toyo Tire Corporation (Headquarters: Itami City, Hyogo Prefecture; President & CEO: Takashi Shimizu; hereinafter, “Toyo Tire”) hereby announced that it has published “Integrated Report 2023,” which provides integrated disclosure of financial and non-financial information annually. “Integrated Report 2023” is available for viewing as of today on our corporate website (https://www.toyotires-global.com/csr/report/).

Toyo Tire Group’s value creation process

In the medium-term business plan, “Mid-Term ’21 Plan”, Toyo Tire declared that we will build sustainability and ESG into corporate management to provide solutions to social issues through our business and create social value, thus contributing to realizing a sustainable society. In this first issue of our integrated report, we systematically organized and illustrate our value creation process in order to keep stakeholders abreast of the value Toyo Tire aims to create for society.

In our value creation process, we borrow various forms of capital from society to operate the company as we leverage the business structure that makes the most of Toyo Tire’s strengths and our one-of-a-kind business strategies. We generate outputs through our distinctive business process and convert them into outcomes, which are then fed back to society. We sincerely hope to seek the Toyo Tire Group’s purpose by tapping into our strengths through collaboration among organizational functions of production, sales, and R&D and outputting environmental and social values, as well as economic value, which are then recycled back to society.

Going forward, Toyo Tire will use the integrated report as a foundation for dialogue with our stakeholders to further enhance our corporate value through effective communication.
