The Introduction of an In-house Company System and Head Office Organizational Reform
On October 1st. 2000, - Toyo Tire's exiting business group system was abolished and replaced by an in-house company system. Under the new system, we now have a Tire Company, Chemical Products Company, and an Automotive Parts Company.
The Head Office has been split and restructured along these new lines into the Corporate Staff Center, the Business Center, and the Purchasing Center.
