Toyo Tire & Rubber Co. Ltd. (President: Yoshio Kataoka) is exhibiting a selection of its latest products at the 8^th Chengdu International Auto Show, which opened on September 16 at the Chengdu International Exhibition & Convention Center in Chengdu City, Sichuan, China.

Chengdu International Auto Show ranks among China's top four motor shows, alongside those of Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou. It is the largest-scale exhibition of its type in the inland area.

For this event, Toyo Tire & Rubber has developed a stand that goes beyond merely showing-off the company's advanced technology. Aiming to make an impression on China's newly affluent consumer segment, Toyo is presenting a brand image of high quality and innovation. Featured products include the flagship Proxes T1R and Proxes CT01 ranges, and several lines that are highly rated in Europe and the United States, including Proxes S/T, Open Country H/T and more. These tires were developed through technical collaboration with the three leading European tire tuners, Breyton, Kleemann and Sportec.

Toyo is also exhibiting radial tires for trucks and buses, which the company began manufacturing last year in China's Xiamen Special Economic Zone.

The Chengdu show runs until September 25. Toyo Tire & Rubber sees it as a valuable opportunity to enhance the brand image of Toyo Tires in the Chinese market.
