Organized by the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA), the SEMA Show is the world's premier automotive specialty performance products trade event. This year over 2,100 companies in the automotive business are planning to hold exhibits at this annual event, which is expected to attract more than 100,000 industry leaders and buyers from over 100 countries, creating limitless opportunities for getting updated on the latest offerings, technology, and market trends.
Specially re-designed to celebrate the fortieth anniversary of the foundation of Toyo Tire (U.S.A.) Corp., the Toyo Tire booth will announce brand new lines for the North American market. Also displayed for the public are six customized vehicles, equipped with tires such as the Proxes R888, newly-launched semi-racing tires, our flagship tire Proxes T1R, and the highly-regarded Open Country A/T.
In addition to colorful events which include an exhibit of custom tuner cars seen on car-related television programs in North America, and signing sessions by surprise guests, including athletes from UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship, an association of mixed martial arts), the official media announcement of our decision to once more support Robby Gordon for the Euromilhoes Dakar 2007 will be staged at a special venue set up in a nearby desert, in the hopes of increasing Toyo brand recognition.
The Nitto Tire booth is dedicated to the brand's flagship tire INVO, which combines an original tread pattern and high comfort level, the Dune Grappler, an off-road tire also featuring an aggressive design with an anti-noise tread pattern, and a new tire model for light trucks, which incorporates a newly-conceived design as well as added comfort and long wear life.
Also on display will be three customized vehicles equipped with tires that integrate high performance and uniqueness, which should serve to enhance Nitto Tire's image as a market-sensitive, innovative brand.
Toyo and Nitto brand tires have been the most frequently chosen tires for over 1,000 vehicles exhibited at the annual SEMA Show for seven consecutive years (Company data).
