Establishment of Nitto Tire Canada Inc.
OSAKA,JAPAN－June 29, 2007－Toyo Tire & Rubber Co., Ltd. hereby announces the establishment of a new tire sales company, Nitto Tire Canada Inc., in Canada effective June 15, 2007. The new company will market Nitto-brand products, and start operations on July 1.
Previously, Toyo Tire established Nitto Tire North America Incorporated (President: Tomoshige Mizutani) in the U.S., and NT MEXICO S. DE R.L. DE C.V (President: Tamotsu Kusumoto) in Mexico, as its overseas bases for marketing Nitto-brand tires, and has gained a high reputation in the fields of SUV and high-performance tires.
With the formation of the new company, Toyo Tire seeks to enhance Nitto tires' brand image and build up a more extensive sales network, by swiftly transforming customer inputs directly into its merchandising and selling strategies and implementing marketing strategies that generate synergies with the TOYO TIRES brand in the Canadian market as well.
