Toyo Tire & Rubber Co., Ltd. will provide tire support to four teams, all from different countries, including Japan. This will be the first time in eight years that Toyo Tire has participated in a race in Japan, and it will be the first time that the Tokachi 24-Hour Race has participants from abroad.

Toyo Tire Support:

Team Vehicle
Red Camel Racing Team (the Netherlands) SEAT Leon 2.0Tdi (Turbo Diesel)
Muehlner Motorsport SPRL (Belgium) Porsche 997 GT3 Cup
Autoracing Club Bratislava (Slovakia) Porsche 996 GT3 RS

As part of its environmentally friendly efforts, Toyo Tire will support two teams running eco-racecars. Red Camel Racing will use biodiesel (refined in Tokachi) in its diesel engine. And the Tokachi Eco Project will use 3% ethanol (E3), which is under research and development locally in Tokachi.

Hoping to finish and rank high in the race, all four cars will be using our slick tires, PROXES RS1 and PROXES RR1 (both for sale abroad). Through races such as this one, we would like to actively take part in eco-development projects, improve our brand recognition, and contribute to the development of motorsports in Japan and abroad.
