Toyo Tire Europe Supporting Two Teams in Rallye International de Tunisie, Optic 2000

OSAKA, JAPAN - April 23, 2008 - TOYO TIRE & RUBBER Co., LTD. (President and CEO: Kenji Nakakura) announces that Toyo Tire Europe GmbH, its European tire sales subsidiary, is providing off-road tire support for two teams entered in the Rallye International de Tunisie, Optic 2000 (better known as the Tunisia Rally), which began on April 23 and finishes on Friday, May 2. The Tunisia Rally is the first event on the calendar for the 2008 FIA (Federation Internationale de I'Automobile) World Cup for Cross-Country Rallies.

Toyo Tire Europe GmbH is supporting:
Tecnosport Italia (Driver: Kenjiro Shinozuka)
Pro System Racing (Driver: Eric Vigouroux).
Both teams have been supplied with TOYO OPEN COUNTRY M/T-R tires and both are competing hard for top placing in the rally.

The Tunisia Rally is the second oldest cross-country event after the famous Dakar Rally. Attracting over 200 entries every year, it has a high profile in European motoring circles.
