Establishment of a Representative Office in Iberia
Osaka, Japan - June 16, 2008-TOYO TIRE & RUBBER CO., LTD. hereby announces that Toyo Tire Europe GmbH (Neuss, Germany, President: Kanji Kasai), a European tire sales subsidiary of Toyo Tire & Rubber Co., Ltd. (President: Kenji Nakakura), established Iberia representative office in Madrid, Spain on June 2.
This establishment aims to implement the sales promotion activity to satisfy our customers in Iberia, one of the major markets in Europe, although Toyo Tire Europe GmbH has three sales subsidiaries in operating in major markets under its umbrella, Toyo Tyre (UK) Ltd. (Rushden, United Kingdom), Toyo Tire Benelux B.V. (Roosendaal, Netherlands), and Toyo Tire Italia S.p.A (Collesalvetti, Italy) to serve as European regional headquarters.
Toyo will aim to expand its share through the activity to bolster our brand position in the market.
