Osaka, Japan-April 24, 2009- TOYO TIRE & RUBBER Co. LTD. (President and CEO: Kenji Nakakura) announces that Toyo Tire Europe GmbH (President: Kanji Kasai), its European tire sales subsidiary, is providing off-road tire support for a team entered in the Rallye OiLibya de Tunisie (better known as the Tunisia Rally), which began on April 22 and will be continued until May 2. The Rally is the second oldest cross-country event after the famous Dakar Rally and attracts over 200 entries every year.

Team: Pro-System Racing
Driver (Co Driver): Eric Vigouroux (Alexandre Winocq)

The total distance of the Rally last year was approximately 3,500km over a span of 10 days. The team finished in 2nd place by a narrow margin of 4'18''. The team has been supplied with our off-road tire, OPEN COUNTRY M/T-R tires and is competing hard for top place in the Rally this year.
