Osaka, Japan - August 3, 2009- TOYO TIRE & RUBBER Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Kenji Nakakura) announced that it provides tire supports for a team, entered in Merdeka Millennium Endurance Race 2009.

The Millennium Endurance Race 2009 is held in Sepang Circuit, Selangor, Malaysia from August 7 through 8, 2009. It is one of the few full-fledged 12h endurance race in Asia.
A number of teams from Europe as well as Asia including Japan participate in the race every year.
The Lammertink Racing is Holland-based and is going to participate in other races.

Mr. Tom Coronel
Mr. Tom Coronel is a developer and ace driver. He won the championships of Japan Formula 3 and Formula-Nippon. He won in Super GT as well. Now, he does a great job in World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) and Le Mans 1000km Series.

Mr. Takayuki Kinoshita
Mr. Takayuki Kinoshita has abundant experience in races such as Super GT or Super Endurance. Among Japanese drivers, he has participated in Nürburgring 24h race the most and the fastest record as ever. Also, he writes lots of comments in magazines as a journalist and is a selector of the Car of the Year.

Mr. Henk Haane
Mr. Henk Haane is a Dutch driver who has wide experience in various races such as FIA-GT3, GT in Netherlands, Touring Car and Endurance races. He has already won a championship in GT this year.
Note: The 3 drivers participate in this race. However, TOYO TIRES signed a contract with Mr. Yasushi Kikuchi as a reserved driver, who participates in Super GT and Super Endurance and has a lot of experience in Nürburgring 24h race.
