PROXES R1R is named by Lancer Evolution X FQ-400 In UK
Osaka, Japan-Aug 21, 2009- TOYO TIRE & RUBBER Co. Ltd. (President and CEO: Kenji Nakakura) announces that Toyo Tire Europe GmbH (President: Tamotsu Sakuramoto), its European tire sales subsidiary, has provided tires, PROXES R1R named by Lancer Evolution X FQ-400 (U.K. version) tuned by The Colt Car Company Ltd. (Distributor of Mitsubishi Motors U.K.).
PROXES R1R of 245/40 ZR18 93W have been fitted to Lancer Evolution X FQ-400 (U.K. version), which has 403bhp at 6,500rpm and 387 bl ft of torque at just 3500rpm, with output which continues to climb steadily to almost 7000rpm, supports its high performance.
The Colt Car Company Ltd. launched together with WRC Developments Ltd., Automobile Tuning Company in U.K., developments Lancer Evolution X as a "Lancer Evolution X FQ-400."
PROXES R1R is good for wet and dry handling, better braking, excellent cornering and incredibly precise steering performance which are suitable for Lancer Evolution X FQ-400. Therefore, such kind of TOYO TIRES technology was accepted by The Colt Car Company Ltd.
