Notice regarding Change in Trade Name of Consolidated Subsidiary
OSAKA, JAPAN - 6 December, 2012 - TOYO TIRE & RUBBER CO., LTD. (President and CEO : Kenji Nakakura) today announced that its consolidated tire manufacturing subsidiary in Malaysia has changed its company name as follows. The factory will begin operation next spring.

Under one of the key strategies of its 2011 Mid-Term Business Plan, Toyo Tires has concentrated management resources on growing markets and strategically important business. They have undertaken the construction of TTM with completion slated for spring 2013.
The purpose of changing the company name is to designate TTM as a marketing and manufacturing company.
Toyo Tires continues to focus on improving its supply chain system in order to quickly respond to changing market demands.
