Osaka, Japan - 5 November, 2013 - Toyo Tire & Rubber Co., Ltd. (Akira Nobuki, president) will support the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing FESTIVAL 2013 held November 10 (Sun.) at Japan’s Fuji Speedway in Sunto District, Shizuoka Prefecture.

In the festival's drift ride experience area, Team TOYO TIRES DRIFT, the company-supported drift racing team, will be on hand to support the event with four vehicles, including the new high-performance Toyota 86. Toyo Tires will also provide the tires used on the vehicles in the newly added gymkhana driving experience area as part of the company's full-scale support of this festival, which is aimed at exposing more and more people to the excitement of cars.

At last November's TOYOTA GAZOO Racing FESTIVAL 2012, Toyota Motor Corp. president Akio Toyoda made a surprise appearance in joining three Team TOYO TIRES DRIFT drivers in a splendid drifting performance in four Toyota 86 cars as part of the opening ceremony.

At this year's event, Toyo Tires will set up an exhibit booth, at which it will feature a Lexus equipped with the company’s flagship TOYO Proxes T1 Sport tire. Team TOYO TIRES DRIFT souvenir goods will also be available.
