Osaka, Japan - 20 December, 2013 - Toyo Tire & Rubber Co., Ltd. (Akira Nobuki, president) announces that Japanese sales subsidiary company, Toyo Tire Japan Co., Ltd. (Toyotaka Yamazaki, president), will feature an exhibition booth at TOKYO AUTO SALON 2014 with NAPAC held at Makuhari Messe (Makuhari, Chiba) over three days from January 10 (Fri.) ~ 12 (Sun.), 2014.

■ “PERFORMANCE Showcase” booth concept

The booth concept for this year’s event will be “PERFORMANCE Showcase.” The booth will exhibit sleek vehicles equipped with six new products scheduled to go on sale beginning Tuesday, January 14, 2014, including the TRANPATH LuⅡ luxury minivan tire and the TRANPATH LuK light car premium tire. A supercharged “body performance” featuring music, light and imagery and the CYBERJAPAN DANCERS that excited the crowd last year will appear again this year to add flashy worldly flavor to the car and tire display.

TRANPATH LuⅡ

This luxury minivan tire targets large-sized, upscale minivans. As the successor to TRANPATH Lu released in 2005, this tire offers the pinnacle of silence and comfort, providing high-quality movement space befitting a luxury minivan. (Release date: January 14, 2014)

TRANPATH LuK

This premium light car tire for Japan’s growing light car market was developed through application of Toyo’s accumulated expertise in producing minivan tires.
