Hi Everyone! Michie Mimoto is my name, a newcomer of Team
TOYO TIRES Drift in 2014. I won the series championship in the
D1 Lady's League last year, but I continue to challenge in D1
fields. Because my dream is to win at D1GP.....Thanks to support
from Toyo Tires and related people's coordination, I can challenge
to do in D1's top stage in this year. Although it is the first time to
perform for drift in the International Circuit, I will pile up my
ranking and unforgettable driving in order to become the first

■What is D1 Grand Prix Series (D1GP)?

D1 Grand Prix Series is a motorsport competition that originated in Japan, in which participants
compete in racing vehicles and outcomes are decided based on driving technique. In contrast to
regular motorsports, where racers compete purely on speed, in D1 racing points are awarded for
artistic quality based on precision and beauty of drift driving technique, and teams battle in a
yearlong series of 6~7 races to determine an eventual champion. In the 2013 season, six races
were held, attracting over 60,000 fans and garnering much attention, not only in Japan but overseas
as well.
