Hyogo, Japan - December 16, 2019 - Toyo Tire Corporation (Headquarters: Itami City, Hyogo Prefecture; President & CEO: Takashi Shimizu: hereinafter, “Toyo Tire”) announces that it will set up both a TOYO TIRES booth and a NITTO booth at one of the world’s largest custom car shows, TOKYO AUTO SALON 2020, which will be held for three days from Friday, January 10 to Sunday, January 12, 2020 at Makuhari Messe  in Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture.

■ TOYO TIRES
 The booth’s rendition depicts our new brand statement announced earlier this year, “Open Roads Await.” On display at the booth will be a wide-ranging lineup, including our flagship brand PROXES Series and the SUV tire brand OPEN COUNTRY. Debuting on the occasion are white letter tires of the OPEN COUNTRY Series. A press release about this series was made a few days ago announcing that the available sizes for these tires would gradually be expanded.
 During the event, the world of TOYO TIRES will be introduced through talk sessions and autograph signings by Ken Block, a renowned rally racer  supported by Toyo Tires, Masato Kawabata, the leader of the Team TOYO TIRES DRIFT, and Michael Whiddett, also known as “Mad Mike,” a New Zealand drifting racer.

■ NITTO
 Built to resemble streets in the U.S., the NITTO booth’s rendition portrays the brand’s world view. The booth will feature a broad tire lineup, including the Grappler Series for SUVs and pickup trucks which has gained an excellent reputation in the North American market.
 Adding color to the exhibit is a live painting by chalk artist “moe,” who will adorn the booth wall with her interpretation of “Mud Grappler,” an extreme mud terrain tire  that has won enthusiastic support from users of SUVs and pickup trucks.

As we have done in the past, an Instagram campaign will be held at the TOYO TIRES booth, and a campaign is also planned to encourage visits to both the TOYO TIRES and NITTO booths. We look forward to seeing you all at TOKYO AUTO SALON 2020.
