TOYO TIRES Signs Brand Ambassador Partnership Agreement with “Mad Mike”
Hyogo, Japan - January 10, 2020 - Toyo Tire Corporation (Headquarters: Itami City, Hyogo Prefecture; President & CEO: Takashi Shimizu; hereinafter, “Toyo Tire”) announced that it has signed a sponsorship agreement with Michael Whiddett (a.k.a. “Mad Mike”), a renowned New Zealand drifting racer, under which Toyo Tire will support this celebrated driver at drifting races and other events.

“Mad Mike” is a drifting performer who travels around the world to compete in motorsports events, including the Goodwood Festival of Speed, a world-famous motor racing event in the U.K . “Mad Mike” dazzled fans by winning the championship at the 2018 Formula Drift Japan Series, and in New Zealand, he is a renowned celebrity who is committed to increasing the popularity of drifting events.
Toyo Tire is looking forward to working with this new brand ambassador to enhance the global presence of TOYO TIRES brand, the hallmark of high-quality, high-performance tires.
