Hyogo, Japan – October 27, 2026 – Toyo Tire Corporation (Headquarters: Itami City, Hyogo Prefecture; President & CEO: Takashi Shimizu; hereinafter, "Toyo Tire") announces its sponsorship of EXPO 2027 Belgrade, which will be held in Belgrade, the capital of the Republic of Serbia, from May 15 to August 15, 2027. Toyo Tire will also support the Japan Pavilion at EXPO 2027 Belgrade.

EXPO 2027 Belgrade, Serbia will be the first International Exhibition of its scale ever to be held in the Western Balkans. With more than 140 international participants from countries and regions from around the world, the exposition is expected to serve as a platform for fostering international exchange and showcasing various initiatives for future generations.

Sharing the vision of EXPO 2027 Belgrade, Serbia, Toyo Tire will support the event as a Gold Partner, providing a total of 41 electric carts for various on-site transport needs, including 4- and 14-seater models, wheelchair-accessible vehicles, and emergency vehicles. The carts' eye-catching wrap design blends Toyo Tire's signature corporate blue with the event's concept design colors, bringing the venue to life and creating a vibrant sense of unity with its festive atmosphere.

As a proud supporter of the Japan Pavilion at EXPO 2027 Belgrade, Toyo Tire will also host TOYO TIRE WEEK during the event, presenting a unique exhibit that brings to life its own interpretation of the Pavilion's theme, "Play and Connect, Together Playful Spirit of Japan."

In 2022, Toyo Tire established its first tire production base in Europe in the city of Indjija, near Belgrade in the Republic of Serbia, and added a sales subsidiary there in 2025. A new European R&D Center is scheduled to open on the premises of the Serbia Plant in 2027, creating an integrated hub for production, sales, and R&D functions. Toyo Tire will position Serbia as its key strategic base for expanding its business and pursuing opportunities in the European market.

Through its support for this international event, Toyo Tire will play its part in the further development of the Republic of Serbia, help promote exchanges between Serbia and Japan and other countries worldwide, and contribute to making the event a resounding success.
