TOYO TIRE Receives Highest Rating in CDP Climate Change Category

Hyogo, Japan – January 8, 2026 – Toyo Tire Corporation (Headquarters: Itami City, Hyogo Prefecture; President & CEO: Takashi Shimizu; hereinafter, “Toyo Tire”) announces that it has been selected for the first time for the A List, the highest rating in the climate change category, by CDP*1, an international non-profit organization that conducts environmental information surveys and facilitates disclosure.
*1: A global non-profit that promotes environmental information disclosure by companies and local governments. CDP collects information on initiatives in climate change action, water resource management, forest conservation and other areas, and publishes evaluation results annually. Major companies worldwide disclose environmental data through the CDP platform, which is widely recognized as a global standard. Evaluations for each category are conducted on an eight-point scale, with A being the highest rating.


We have been actively promoting decarbonization initiatives, including obtaining SBT certification*2 for our greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets and switching to electricity derived from renewable energy sources, primarily at our production facilities. Furthermore, we were highly commended for improving the reliability of our disclosed information through data verification by independent third-party specialist organizations.
